EDGE Edtech® Accelerator Announces “Rock-Star” Line up of Mentors, Advisors, and Speakers for Fall 2015 NYC Accelerator Program

In addition to $170,000 in funding, participants in intensive three-month EDGE Accelerator will receive mentorships and coaching from education and technology industry luminaries

New York, NY, April 2, 2015 – Last week, EDGE Edtech announced the launch of its 2015 EDGE Accelerator program in New York City.  Today, it announces the line up of mentors and advisors who will work with the ten companies selected to participate. The EDGE Accelerator provides access to one of the industry’s largest and most powerful networks of experienced leaders in the education and technology fields. The EDGE Accelerator is now accepting applications for the September 2015 class from innovative startups focused on technology solutions to improve education and learning -- across all stages from birth through lifelong learning. Each of the ten companies selected for the program will receive $170,000 in funding. The intensive three-month mentor-led Accelerator, housed in EDGE’s offices in New York City, runs from September to December 2015.  It provides mentorship, coaching, legal services, agile development expertise, sales consulting, business development and more.  It is designed to help entrepreneurs secure their next round of financing, culminating in Demo Day when companies will present to an unparalleled network of angel and venture capital education investors.
